Karthik Pichai brings over a decade of management, international business development, technology consulting, product management and software engineering experience to Augusta. An entrepreneur from an early age, Karthik combines his technical expertise, innovative ideas, and passion to build successful companies from the ground up.
As the CEO of a high-growth technology services company, Karthik emphasizes team-oriented approaches to delivering custom software solutions that ensure every member not only excels at but also enjoys the work they are doing. He is also heavily invested in drastically minimizing his organization’s carbon footprint. Karthik holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Madras, India and an M.S in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Southern Illinois University.
Sean Caputo has a wealth of experience creating technologies that enhance business expertise and customer experience. His vision is to provide businesses with tools that engage customers in real time, and deliver customer insight, analytics and competitor insight in a big data cloud solution that any employee can use via PC or mobile device.
Prior to joining Augusta, Sean was the founder and president of a global marketing company that developed ad network software, education portals, and co-registration software. He also developed Webmaster and Chief Information Officer certification programs that are currently offered at select universities.
Lucas Grassano is an executive level program manager who leads high performance teams and executes complex, high end projects and solutions. With extensive experience in managing projects from the concept stage through operational execution and delivery, Lucas builds relationships with clients and provides marketing and sales teams with the resources necessary to meet the company’s goals, increase revenues and deliver superior customer service.
Lucas has a background in Civil Engineering and Project Management and is now pursuing and MBA focused on management of tech companies and the challenges faced by these organizations.
Mike Heighway was born in Ontario, Canada and lived most of his life in New Mexico prior to relocating to Denver, Colorado. He studied architecture at The University of New Mexico, graduating in 2010 with a Master of Architecture. After graduating, he went on to do work for Apple Computer, Hewlett Packard, and several internationally published architects.
Mike is a diverse multidisciplinary designer. His work spans across architectural design, identity, branding, product visualization, motion graphics, web and mobile app design, and other media. He is engaged in the design community, having been a visiting critic at UNM’s School of Architecture and Planning and The University of Colorado, Denver's College of Architecture and Planning.
Mandar Kulkarni, MBA, PMP, CSM, ACP, SPC is a senior IT professional with more than 25 years of experience in India and in US. He was a founder of a IT product and services company in India and he ran it until he came to US in 1997. He has been working in the Bay Area with reputed companies like Cisco, Brocade and Accenture as a senior project and program management expert.
As an active volunteer for more than 10 years, Mandar is a Director of Certifications at Silicon Valley chapter of Project Management Institute (PMI) and has been teaching PMP prep classes since 2003. In addition to his IT and Management education, Mandar is also trained as a Business and Personal Coach. He is a published author of a leadership book titled as "From Team Player to Team Leader - 50 success mantras for new managers".
Santosh Karnewar is a visionary product innovator with over a decade of IT experience in solution architecture. Prior to joining Augusta, he was the founder of a technology company in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, whose product was deployed by various clients, including Panasonic, Sumitomoto, and Clipsal.
Santosh has experience building and managing global technology teams with Verizon Wireless, Blue Shield Of California, Saphran, Inc., and Pac Technologies. He also owns a patent for a Smart IVRS solution.
Santosh holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Nagpur, India.
Ramon Tisaire serves as an advisor to various senior management teams across the U.S., Europe, Latin America, and India. His experience includes achieving sustainable change through strategy formulation, operational execution, and IT implementation.
Ramon was formerly the Managing Director of Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) in Madrid, where he oversaw restructuring and performance improvement programs designed to maximize value for his clients. In addition, he assisted clients across a broad range of industries, including technology, telecommunications, public sector, leisure and entertainment, pharmaceutical, transportation, and financial services. Prior to joining A&M, he was the Managing Director of Capgemini in Barcelona and a partner at Unisys.
Ramon received a B.S. from Hamilton College, and an M.B.A. and M.S. in International Relations from the University of Chicago. He received a “Certificat d’Études Politiques,” (Mention Bien), from the Institut d’Études Politiques in Paris. A Spanish national, Ramon is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Catalan, and has a working knowledge of Portuguese and Italian.
Max Atwood has over 15 years of health care experience, primarily evaluating business needs, defining strategies and approaches, building teams, models, and processes, and driving the design, development, implementation, and support of business intelligence solutions. His strengths include building and aligning business intelligence organizations, models, tools, and standards with evolving business goals.
In his prior role as Senior Manager of Business Intelligence at Blue Shield Of California Max created the company's first business intelligence and consulting practice. He also has extensive experience leading the adoption of data governance / quality, solutions design & delivery, and self-service reporting frameworks.
Max holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of California at Davis. He is also a Certified Health Insurance Associate (HIAA) and SAS Certified Professional.
